Sailfin was completed during a 2001 artist residency at Sculpture Space in Utica, NY. In 2003 both Sailfin and Heightened Body 2 were installed in a public setting in Hartford, CT. The opportunity was made possible by the Greater Hartford Arts Council, and was part of the Riverfront Recapture Project by the city of Hartford
